Gazetteer Application
This application adopts a "mobile-first" design strategy, ensuring optimal performance on both mobile devices and desktop computers. Emphasizing simplicity and user control, it provides comprehensive country profiling, encompassing demographic, weather, geographical, and other relevant data. To achieve this functionality, the system heavily relies on third-party APIs. Implemented AJAX calls to PHP routines, leveraging cURL to fetch information from the API. Subsequently, I formatted the JSON response to present the information to the user. The application also makes use of external JavaScript Libraries, such as Leaflet, and incorporates Screen Loaders. Company Directory Application
The Company Directory is a mobile-first application created for efficient management of company personnel. Ensuring a responsive design, this application facilitates seamless creation, retrieval, and modification of staff information, providing a professional and user-friendly experience across both mobile and desktop platforms. For this project, I demonstrated my ability to construct a company directory to successfully manage various aspects of business operations. The backend PHP routines used to interact with the SQL database check for data validity and ensure that deletion operations do not occur on records with relationships to other records.
